A long-time resident of Mobile, Alabama, I am a graduate of the University of Mobile and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Hurricane Katrina struck Gulf Coast while I was working toward my master’s degree, and upon my return to New Orleans nine months later I learned what true compassion meant. Two years later I left New Orleans for short stay in Fort Worth, Texas. Now I’m back in Mobile trying to be a voice of hope during a time when hope seems fleeting.

I love to travel and I rarely leave home without my Canon 40D. I’ve been to 35 states, 3 provinces, and a few countries. While living in Fort Worth I realized that being within short driving distance of a large body of salt water is important to me. I blog at Words Are Not Enough.
